Convocada pelas duas centrais sindicais gregas, GSEE e ADEDY, realiza-se amanhã, dia 26 de setembro, uma greve geral de 24 horas.

CGTP-IN SOLIDARITY WITH GSEE AND ADEDY FOR GENERAL STRIKE ON 26 SEPTEMBER 2012
The CGTP-IN, its affiliated Unions and the workers we represent in Portugal convey to GSEE and ADEDY and to the Greek trade union movement and Greek workers in general, its full solidarity with your call for a nationwide 24-hour strike on September 26, 2012 to protest against the new anti-labour, anti-social austerity package that will again profoundly hit the working people and the pensioners of Greece, and increase the recession and austerity policies that have been severely hitting your workers and people.
We totally stand on your side in your rejection of new austerity measures, under the pressure of the Troika, serving big international capital and speculation.
Also in Portugal the CGTP-IN and the Portuguese patriots and democrats are strongly resisting new and brutal packages our government and the troika have just recently proposed, with the prospect of growing recession, austerity and attack on labour rights and conditions, to be included in the 2013 State Budget.
But just like the Greek Workers we say no to foreign interference and destruction of democratic and social gains!
On Saturday, 29 September, the CGTP-IN will promote a large nationwide concentration in Lisbon, against the austerity measures and the robbery of wages and pensions.
